Notice of Application for State Wetland Licenses, and the Opportunity to Provide Written Comment or Request an Informational Hearing

The Water and Science Administration is reviewing the following applications for State Wetland License.

25-WL-1026 HARFORD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION at 220 S. Main Street, Bel Air, MD 21041 has applied to hydraulically or mechanically maintenance dredge a 5,620 foot long by 50 to 75 foot wide channel, including an irregularly shaped approximately 11,600 square foot spur channel to Mariner Point Park boat ramp (approximately 8.75 acres), all to a depth of 5.5 feet at mean low water. In addition, to hydraulically or mechanically maintenance dredge a 8,750 square foot area (approximately 0.20 acres) known as Rumsey Outfall to a depth of 5 feet at mean low water. The approximately 3,926 cubic yards of dredged material shall be deposited at Marina Point Park Dredge Material Placement site near 100 Kearney Drive, Joppatowne, Harford County, MD.  This is proposed to provide periodic maintenance dredging over a six year period.
